Other experience

  • Nicole has expanded her legal knowledge through active participation in international and professional organisations and projects. Since 2023, she has been a member of the International Law Students’ Association (ILSA). Through her membership, she has deepened her knowledge in the areas of compliance, data protection, and the legal and ethical challenges posed by emerging technologies. Nicole has participated in professional visits and discussions with legal experts from Wise and Sorainen, gaining practical insight into the fin-tech sector and the day-to-day operations of law firms. She has also attended a student conference addressing questions of law, ethics, and policy in the field of artificial intelligence and future technologies.
  • In 2024, Nicole represented Estonia at the European Ethics Bowl in Slovenia, where complex legal dilemmas related to artificial intelligence were examined.
  • In 2023-2025, Nicole was a member of the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA). Through her involvement with ELSA, she gained practical knowledge across various areas of law and familiarized herself with the functioning of the Estonian legal system through visits to courts and law enforcement authorities.
  • In 2023-2024, Nicole was an active participant in conferences organised by Enterprise Estonia.
  • In 2022, Nicole took part in an Erasmus student exchange program in Romania. The program aimed to motivate high school students to pursue higher education.
